Pharmacology and toxicology
Magnesium gluconate dissociates into magnesium ions and gluconic acid in vivo, which is involved in all energy metabolism in vivo and activates or catalyzes more than 300 enzyme systems. Magnesium ions are involved in the synthesis of DNA and RNA as well as the structure of cell membranes. This product has obvious muscle relaxation, can alleviate coronary artery spasm, reduce acetylcholine release, maintain the balance of potassium and magnesium ions in the body, can prevent platelet aggregation caused by magnesium deficiency and the formation of coronary thrombosis, and has the function of calcium junction resistance and membrane stability.
pharmacokinetics
The product is produced by glucose transformation in vitro, and its absorption pathway is the same as glucose. Absorption begins within 1 hour and continues at a constant rate for up to 8 hours. When hungry, absorption may be faster and more complete. The biggest characteristic of this product is that the cation absorption and digestion of chelation are far better than other types, and all age groups can be well absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract. The absorbed magnesium is mainly excreted by the kidneys.
