The product is a semi synthetic second generation cephalosporin, characterized by strong antibacterial effect on Gram-negative bacteria and highly resistant to beta lactamase. The antimicrobial spectrum includes Escherichia coli, pneumoniae, indole positive Proteus, Serratia, Klebsiella, influenza, Salmonella, Shigella, etc. It also has a good effect on Staphylococcus and a variety of Streptococcus.
It is mainly used for respiratory tract infections, endocarditis, peritonitis, pyelonephritis, urinary tract infection, septicemia and bone, joint, skin and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
